I have participated in writers’ rooms for Disney+, ABC and SBS, contributing story development, research and note taking:

I was the note-taker and researcher in a writer’s room for a new, original historical drama for ABC TV (Closer Productions).
I was the note-taker in a writers’ room for a new, original TV drama for Disney+ (Princess Pictures) now streaming.
I was the note-taker in a writers’ room for a new, original web drama, Confinement, for SBS (Bordertown Films).
I was an observer in a 15-day writers’ room for a new, original TV drama being developed for Disney+.

Awards and Achievements

I am an Australian-Born Chinese - my mother is from Hong Kong and my dad is from Malaysia.
My native language is English. I studied Mandarin at university and later worked in Shanghai for three years. I speak toddler-level Cantonese.
I have worked in Adelaide, London, Leeds, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Shanghai. I have worked overseas as a solo explorer, a residency recipient, and a pampered expatriate.
I have been a CEO, a board member, a marketing director, a stay-at-home mum, a consultant, a freelance food/travel/lifestyle writer and photographer, a recipe developer and a food stylist. I have been employed by startups, not-for-profits, NGOs, established arts organisations, tech companies, F&B companies, travel companies and media companies. I like learning new things and I do my best work when I am being challenged and out of my comfort zone.
I live in Adelaide, Australia with my husband, two teenagers and a puppy called General Iroh named after the beloved character in Avatar: The Last Airbender. I have previously been married and divorced.
I was late diagnosed with ADHD in 2025. I am now creating multiple projects around ADHD.
