Author & Designer - Unbreakable: The Warren Randall Story

I was commissioned to write and design a biography and coffee table book about Warren Randall, Australia’s trailblazing winemaker and entrepreneur. Creating Unbreakable: The Warren Randall Story (September 2026) was an enormous job as Warren had lived a life big enough for three books and had been in the public eye for 45 years. Adding to the challenge was the unprecedentedly tight deadline as well as Skye Randall’s wish to keep the project secret from her husband so it could be presented to him at his 70th birthday party. The final 364-page coffee table book, based on interviews with family members, close friends, business partners and colleagues, 600+ published media articles, and extensive research, featured 14 biographical chapters, selected press clippings and dozens of photographic spreads. After spending months wondering how Warren would react to the book, his enthusiastic response was everything I could have hoped for. The book is a testament to the vision, hard work, passion and trust shared between Skye and I.

About the Book: Warren Randall grew up in a house with a father broken by war and a mother with brains and beauty who fought to be taken seriously. He came out the other side knowing he wanted to be someone. He's been proving it ever since.

That’s inevitable when you’re prepared to take big swings.
He is a loving and supportive husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Devoted, generous, and loyal; more than one person described him as someone you'd go to war with. Outside the office and home, he's a collector of luxury, every day and vintage cars, and a passionate Crows fan with a serious case of white-line fever.
He is fearless, highly intelligent, funny, maddening, and generous, An insatiable learner, and endlessly curious, he is incapable of sitting still. At seventy, Warren is still the enfant terrible of the Australian wine industry, calling it as he sees it. Through the Randall Wine Group, he's the largest private owner of vineyards in Australia. And he's not finished yet.
Everyone who's crossed paths with him has a story. Most of them are true. Part biography, part family archive, part time capsule, this book captures the moments, people, and instincts that have shaped Warren Randall's journey.

Photographer - Flavours of South Australia

I was one of three photographers commissioned to document 130+ South Australian restaurants and wineries for the 462-page Flavours of South Australia book (November 2015) for Smudge Publishing. Over two months, I visited South Australia’s key food and wine regions like Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula, discovering some unknown gems, meeting some passionate foodies and wine makers, sampling some delicious food and wine and falling in love with my state all over again.
